I have Movie Studio+DVD and have been having trouble importing movies to edit. I captured the videos from a VCR, and tried to import to the Movie Studio software. It worked a couple of times, but now I get an error message stating:
"The MainConcept MPEG plug-in was not able to initialize properly. It appears that some modules are bing used from a folder other than the install folder.
Most likely another third party application has installed MainConcept modules in the system folder. These may conflict with the plugin. Pleass contact Sony Customer Support for assistance."
I contacted Sony, but haven't heard back yet. Has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it.
