ERROR when using Excalibur and 7.c

from time to time I find it easiest to trim my HDV CFDI clips using Excalibur 5's region render function to new CFDI's (great speed with smart rendering, plus the second gen loss is nil IMO) then I can delete the orig CFDI's, this really saves space when I have tape that I know I have a lot junk I wont use, plus I can name acuartly all my clips.
ANYWAYS>>> lately I occasionly get a few errors when activating Excal, it will work fine in the same project for say 5-8 time then the next time i get the following error messages:

Cant load SE Plugin(invalid access to memory location.).(c:Program Files\ Vstplugins\TR Amp\STATSINE.SEP)

I click OK then this message appears:
Cant Load SE Plugin>dehaupt STATSINE v1.0

Now keep in mind I have no FX on either audio or video just a straight re render. Seems like a VST plug in mising or something but none that I know of. And this only occurs when opening Excal.
and after I click thru the errors Excal open fine and works fine.

Hi,
Sorry to hear of a new set of problems with the CFDIs...and v7c

Come on over to our long listing on "is 7c ok? are you using it?"

Seems like we all could use a "quick fix" of some sort....

Pretty please in time for the New Year....!

There aren't problems with the CineForm files in Vegas 7, or none that I've experienced, and just finished capturing over 100 hours using a mix of CF and native.
If you've got previous betas or older versions of CineForm on your system, you'll need to zap them, but that's all it seems to require to get clean functionality of CineForm in V7c.

yes I dont think it's a cineform issue, and not even sure if its a Excalibur issue, as I had not seen it with the earlier versions of V7.
something tells me its either V7 looking for a Vst i might have deleted or something.
And yes Teaktart I have been following the other post, i thought I would keep this separate as it may catch Edwards attention and mybe he has some insight as to how Ex would want to cal up a VST plug .
Like I said it does not affect fucntionalty of either Vegas or Excal. once I click thru the errors everything works fine and no crashes.

Excalibur iterates through your plug-ins to add their names to the dropdown menus. It sounds like one or more of your VST plug-ins are corrupt. This is really not Excalibur's fault. I would fix the offending VST plug-in if you want the errors to go away.

Thats kind of what i thought ...Id did find a TR Amp plug in in my VST folder and deleted it, so we will see what happens.

Bad effects can certainly cause errors to pop up. I've also seen one instance where something appeared as an effect but when trying to read through the presets caused an error to appear and another instance where trying to read through the presets caused another program to launch!
