Error while Making Blu Ray Disc

In the process of Prepare I got the message:
"An error ocurred while preparing compilation.
File name: STREAM/00001.m2ts
Status: TSWrapper.dll::CTSWrapper::ProcThreadMain::Video buffer underflows."

The project is fairly complex: 7 menus, 12 video files; All videos .avc, 24p; audio .ac3. The total disc space was estimated as 20.2 GB. I used DVDA 5.2 (DVDA 6 was getting stuck below 20 GB). No error messages were reported prior to Prepare. No idea what's getting wrong. I would appreciate some help. Thanks in advance

Why 12 video files?

Try preparing simpler versions of your project and see if you can identify where and/or when the problem occurs.

A buffer underflow would suggest slow data throughput, insufficent hard disk or memory space, etc.

Thanks to both of you. I followed the link (https://www.custcenter.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4293/~/video-buffer-underflow-error-during-prepare-of-blu-ray-disc-project) and somehow managed to overcome the major problem. I lowered the bitrate of all the files by re-rendering and unifying them. I also simplified the menu backgrounds by using the pure text buttons and the DVDA themes instead of the still images. However, I wonder why I had to do all this. The above link comes from year 2009. To my best knowledge the new editions of DVDA are supposed to comply with high bitrate (up to 40 000 000?) and do not put any limits on the number of video files and menus (am I wrong @musicvid? yes, the project is fairly complex, but it was meant as a "travel story" covering a few years). Last but not least, DVDA 6 does not handle even such "simplified" project, it hangs when the estimated disc space reaches 18Gb. Fortunately DVDA 5.2 works much better.
