It sounds like you're going through the prepare process each time. You don't need to do that. As long as you haven't deleted the "prepare" folder with the VIDEO_TS folder in it, just go straight to burn. It will save you a lot of time and the reuse thing becomes a complete non-issue.

Thanks for the speedy reply!
Ahh...right you are. I have been doing that. I decided to try and find that folder (The prepare one)....While I wasn't able to find it, I did find a file under the name "SPREPARE.SPSS"outside of the folder. Could that be it? And if not, should I just re-prepare it? Also, I should've asked this question earlier, but I forgot, does the re-use actually have abn effect? I figured it did since my DVDs stopped working after frequent playbacks...but I wasn't sure.

There should be a folder that you have named for the specific project. In that folder you should have two further folders, AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS and also a file called SPREPARE.SPSS. If you don't have that folder you need to prepare a new one.

The estimated re-use has to do with how much work DVDA has to do in the prepare process. This is related to any changes made since the last prepare. I assume that this information is stored in the SPREPARE.SPSS file, although I have never investigated.

If your DVDs stop working after frequent playbacks you have another issue. It might have to do with how they are handled, the quality of discs or the quality of burn. If the discs play properly to start with the first seems most likely.

Okay, so I'm back with a new question. I'm trying to make a brand new DVD and I did a burn of what I thought to be the Master copy of the DVD...but then I noticed a few things that I had to change.
So now my question is should I delete my original SPREPARE.SPSS and create a new Prepare folder or am I okay? I noticed that the Re-Use percentage is REALLY low now (57% as opposed to 99% from before). What do you guys suggest?

"...but then I noticed a few things that I had to change."

Dude, if you've made changes to the project, just Prepare it again.
The program takes care of everything else for you.
What you probably don't understand, is that every time you make a change, it has to render all the .VOB files for the menus and titles again. Trust the process and let it do it's work!

But what about when the Estimated Re-Use goes down to 57%? Am I still okay? Will multiple copies of the DVDs still work well?

You have the wrong impression.
DIRECT FROM THE DVDA HELP SECTION:

Select the Current project radio button and type the path to the folder where you want to prepare your project in the Prepare/burn folder box (or click Browse to choose a folder).

No, you're answers are great. Sorry about that. I'm a bit dumb that way. I appreciate you putting up with my stupidity ;).
Thanks again and sorry for bothering you.

I replaced my previous answer with the explanation from the DVDA Help section. Sometimes my explanations are not very clear. Hope this helps.
