Could you tell me how you did the "shaded curtain" (for lack of a better description) like at the 29 - 35 second mark in this video? Can it be done in VMSP Ver. 6? Thanks!

Not Eugenia but I thoght I'd jump in here with an idea.
Place same event on track one and track two lined up with each other.
Add barn door transition to event on track two with settings of vertical and out.
Lower opacity of track one event to 62% and keep opacity of track two event at 100%.
Voila - semitransparent curtains

I actually did it with pan/crop, not with transitions. I did put two copies of the same clip on the above track of the second one, transparency of the first video track to 50%, and then I used pan/crop on the second video track's clip. I used keyframes, and on the beginning only a small part of the clip is visible, and on the last keyframe the whole track is visible (Vegas creates the animation automatically between keyframes).
