Event Pan/Crop Keyframe Defaults?

Greetings!

Is there anyway to change defaults on Event Pan/Crop keyframes? I am doing lots of panning of still images in my video (a la Ken Burns) and am using many keyframes to control the motion within the image. When a keyframe is created, the default setting for movement is 'linear.' I would like it to default to 'smooth' so I don't have to keep going into each keyframe and change it.

I get lucky a few times when I can cut and paste a keyframe (it maintains the attributes), but the vast majority of times I'm creating new ones.

Any thoughts about relieving me of this mind-numbing activity? Thanks much.

Dave

Keep in mind that when you add a keyframe, the new keyframe is created as the same type as the preceding keyframe. To change the default type go to Options > Preferences > External Control & Automation > New Video motion keyframes

You can also change the smoothness default in the internal perferences.
