Event Pan/Crop & Text windows not floating anymore

I recently moved up to VV from VF, so I'm still trying to adjust to all these new features. At first when I added text to my video, the text box would float freely on my screen. I could move it anywhere I wanted to. Same with the Event/Pan Crop box. I think I must have clicked on something by mistake because now when I open them, they go directly to the bottom of the VV screen and "LOCK" themselves in an area where I can not move them anymore.

This is bugging me like crazy!!! I know it had to be something I did, but for the life of me I can't figure out what I did. Does anyone know how to get it back like it was before? VF never did this to me. LOL!

It sounds like the window has been 'docked'. To undock it, look to the far left of the pan/crop window. You should see a vertical 3-d line a little shorter than the height of your window. Position your mouse on top of that line, hold down the left mouse button, and drag the window out of its current location. It should now float freely.
