Event Velocity

When I activate "Event Velocity" I don't get the green line across the clip.
Anybody a solution please.

View / Show Envelopes, or Ctrl+Shift+E

have you tried right clicking on the video event and going to insert/remove envelope, then selecting velocity?

i've tried both this and going through the insert menu, and i get the green envelope both times.
