I'm a newbie and am having a lot of trouble with my first project. It doesn't matter if I preview the file or drag it to the timeline, I am not able to view the file in its entirety.

The file may be about 20 minutes long but for some reason it only shows the first 10 or so seconds. When I stretch out the clip I am able to see the other frames (the ones not shown in the first 10 seconds) but the audio is only from the first 10 seconds and therefore doesn't match up.

I don't know if it's relevant but the files were .vob but I've since changed them to .mpg. Doesn't make any difference tho.

I'm thinking I'm just not doing some basic thing, but have just spent the best part of today trying to figure it out and with no success so far.

Any advice appreciated. Thanks in advance
