EX-1 lens: how wide?

I am looking at the EX-1 more and more seriously. How wide is the lens? Should I get a WA lens immediately like I would do on an HDV camera?

equivalent to 31.4mm on a 35 mm camera. I never know whether that's a 35mm still or cine camera, but it's wider than the Z1.
