Explorer window Auto Preview Play on/off toggle default?

In VP23 can you change the default for the Explorer Window so that the Auto Preview Play on/off will be set to ON by default. It appears to be that the default is always OFF. IS there something in Options/Internal to fix this?

Very strange. This seems to be persisting for me.

Luckily this feature is default OFF (also in VP22).

When it is default ON, which sense would the play button on the media event in the Explorer make.

In VP19 it is the same toggle switch but there is no default when you open Vegas, rather it remains on or off as it was the last time Vegas was opened. This means if you like it "on" you don't have to use the toggle each time you open Vegas. I like it "on", hence the way it is working now is annoying.

I notice in the Project Media window, Auto Preview works as expected remaining "on" or 'off" per the last time you opened Vegas. The problem in VP23 is the Explorer window.

@xberk In VP19 there is no play button on the event. The only difference between auto preview play ON and the play button in the media event is that for previewing you can click on the event instead of clicking the play button.of the event. For me this feature is annoying, so I'm glad it's deafult off, but I must admit that it should stay ON ,when switched ON, after reopening Vegas. I would like also to have that the preview on external monitor button stays ON after reopening Vegas.
