Export from AVID.

I also have an AVID DVExpress which is a good system but not as versatile as vv4.
I would like to import the 6 audio tracks from a project into vv and do all my audio work there.
Can I directly import all the tracks so that they are in sync with the video and then export them again into the avid.
I am assuming that there is no OMFimport /export on vv4.
It would definately be on my wishlist.
Any comments gratefully received.

Hi, I recently used Vegas for the audio on a project that was edited in DVExpress. We had no problems with audio/video losing sync between the machines.

If it helps this was the workflow: When editing on a scene was completed in DVExpress, the file was rendered to DV Tape (either a deck or a camera) then brought into Vegas via a camera. When the mixing was complete I would either render each track out to an .AIFF file or print to dv tape.

Good luck,
