export size (dimension not file size) problem

I have a project set to 720x576 (rouhly) pixels. When I export the avi at 720x576 and play it in a file player (windows media, winamp) it plays at about half the size. If I check the properties of the AVi it says 720x576. Any idea why? I am playing it in the media player at 100% zoom factor.

In Windows Media Player there is a setting for the performance of DV files. Go to Tools/Options/ Performance and then the advanced button. You will find a slider for the size of digital video files. remember that it will effect the performance of their playback.
