Till now I use the demo of VV only, but I am very impressed and have ordered it already. I have a Celeron 800 (Linux only) in another room for capturing with kino via Ethernet (Samba Server). This works fine, but I would like to postprocess the file with transcode, which was rendered with VV on a Celeron 1300, because the Samba-Server (Celereon 1000) is bored the whole day and could do encoding. I know it is a slow machine, but even capturing and encoding works at the same time with a 5400-drive via Ethernet (big surprise). Unfortunately a dv-format-file works best here with transcode. With all avi-files I have the 4:42-problem. So, is it possible to create a dv-file with VV?
