Thank you for the tip, Spot, but I am looking at a way to export a movie as a sequence of individual tga frames, and not a QuickTime movie.

rogerro, Spot's seq "File>Render As>Quicktime>Targa" really is "File>Render As>Quicktime> press "custom" for template, then choose "video", then select video format>Targa", don't forget to choose your target frame rate.

jetdv is correct -- use the debugmode frame server in vegas and frame serve to virtualdub or virtualdubmod

and in virtualdub - save as targa seq.

you will find that it is more than twice as fast to do it this way.
