Exporting a project... Any advice

I have a fairly complex project that I've been trying to export as anything, really, each of the choices crashes Vegas almost immediately. Any known issues as to certain file types that might kill the process? I've got a ton of mixed media in the project, old formats etc but it all plays fine and renders fine in Vegas, just can't export for Resolve or FCP or Premiere. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Vegas 18 (latest), Nvidia 2060 with latest studio driver.

Exporting to other project formats usually doesn't work well, if it does you might get cuts and basic fades to transfer over, but the rest of your edits will be lost. Best to just render out using an intermediate format that is compatible with these other NLEs and then apply any other edits or color grades from there.

Thanks. I know how limited it is, but I'd done it before and it worked but now every template crashes. Guess I'll download the new version and try it again, once I actually finish the project I'm working on.

Try to move your all raw video files into SSD storage (local disc /c: etc), then after you open your project ".Veg file " it, the first homepage timeline will say your video component was missing then try to recover it by "search file in your SSD" .
