external control for color correction & fx

hi!

i was wondering if there's any chance to set the color correction controls with an external midi controller. i have an evolution uc-33 which works just fine with vegas, but the default assignable functions for the software are far from enough.
i would rather use my controller to control effect parameters and fx automation, is possible to do that with scripting or at all?

Asked about this but the problem is that external control surfaces write automation envelopes whereas most video FXs are controlled by keyframes.
I can see why, there's an awefull lot of parameters that get assigned to CC so you have a video track that looked like spaghetti with so many envelopes.
