I have firewire going into a DV-Analog converter box and then have S-video running from the converter box to a tv. The problem is that when I play the timeline, the preview on the tv is jumpy and not smooth.

I've tried to change to preview to draft and that doesn't appear to help much. I've also tried connecting from the converter box to the tv with RCA cables instead of S-video and no luck there either.

Any idea what this might be? Wouldn't be video card, would it? Processor speed?
