External Monitor

I have purchased a widescreen monitor
When I play a picture (from explorer) on the external monitor, it is clear
As soon as I drag it onto a video track, it becomes jagged and blurry
Any suggestions would help
I have not set any widescreen attributes at this point - only using NTSC DV
I am using Vegas 5

Set Preview window to Preview/Full. This should fix your problem.
Playback from the Explorer or Trimmer is unbuffered, full rez, and full frame. On the timeline, it's buffered, and quality is dependent on settings in the Preview Window. Best/Full is the highest quality, but you'll start to drop frames as you work with filters, unless you've got a screamin' system.
