External Monitor Dropouts

I'm using an ADS PYRO A/VLink and every so often I get a green screen for a half second or so in the middle of playback. Is this a firewire issue? I get the impression that something's grabbing the firewire bus for a second and interfering with the output. Do I need to do something to set priorities on the PCI bus?

I'm using an SIIG 1394 3-Port PCI firewire Adapter.

Yes, XP Pro. Would it benefit me to look into IRQ priorities? What do I need to look for in regards to the firewire card?

Same here lately.. but Win2000..

Less dropouts with a lower-quality preview-output.. but that's not what the customer wants...

It seems it is a firewireproblem to me.. although capture is not a problem..
