EXTERNAL MONITOR PREVIEW

I was able to preview on my external monitor via a Sony GV-D900 Walkman VCR...until I relocated Vegas Video & Vegas Capture on my "D" drive. Now I can only view on my external monitor through Capture 2.E and get the following message in Vegas Video 2.d:
"This device supports recompression> Hot pluggable device. Device unavailable" and no preview on the monitor???

Any ideas...

Hi:
I am having a similar problem. I have a question posted here also. You might look at some of my replys and see if anything helps you.
My heading is External monitor/Overlay, etc.
