Hello,
My config: PIII 800, 512 RAM, HD7200, OHCI Controller, WinXP Pro, VV3
Problem: Jerky preview on ext monitor (TV) thru 1394 from explorer (VV3), trimmer,
mediapoll, timeline. The same clip playback flaw flawless one time, another time - with glitch, no regularity.
Capture, print to tape via Vidcap is fine – no dropped frames.
DMA, IRQs, defrag as recommended.
Jerky preview happened after I upgrade Win2k to WinXP Pro.
Hardware, slots are the same.
Just for example: PAL DV clip captured by Vidcap from digital Panasonic camcorder, the clip without Fx, fades, transitions etc. Project set to PAL DV template w/o any changing. When I put a clip to timeline and playback, then pause I see jerky preview on ext monitor, even during PAUSE. What’s happened? It doesn’t mean what is preview option: draft, preview, good or best.
I have no such artifact under Win2k.
Look thru all of VV3 forum about ext preview but didn’t find decision.
Please, help.
