extra scene upon capture

last couple a weeks on every capture I get an extra scene 1 frame in length then a perfectly good capture as scene 2. this happens with or without scene detection on. So if i am capturing 3 segments i get my 3 segments no problem but also 3 ,1 frame segments. hmmm. any ideas ? not a huge issue but creates a bunch of garbage files.

there's a minumum capture duration setting - if you set this to, say, 5 sec this may stop this happening.
