I am trying to produce a video in which I want to "freeze" the action at a particular point for 1 to 1.5 secs, and then continue on at normal speed. I found that I can use the "Save Copy of Timeline to File" option in the Video Output window that will extract the current frame and save it to a JPEG file. I can then take this JPEG file, insert it onto to the timeline, adjust the length, etc., and get the freeze effect. However, the program saves the still in a very low resolution (360x240), which produces at picture that is noticeably blurrier than the original DV footage. Is there anyway to change the resolution of the JPEG stills extracted from DV footage? I cannot find any setting under Preferences. (It would seem 720x480 resolution should be possible since this is the resolution of the original DV footage.)
