Fade multiple tracks as a group?

I have 2 video tracks that I want to fade to black (one video, one text). If I create individual fades, then I see the text fade out overtop of the video. However, I'd like to fade the 2 tracks together (as if I rendered the video, put that back in it's own track, and faded that to black).

Is there an easy way to do this other than rendering and fading the result?

Matt, you can put a fade to color envelope on your top track and it will fade everything below it. Similarly, you can put black generated media on the track above your two tracks and fade it in. Or if you want to fade everything in the project, put the fade to color envelope on the video bus.
