I updated to 5.0. on two different machines, both Dell platforms. On one I replaced the Dell supplied Phillips burner with a SONY and it ejects the disc after a burn is completed.
On the other, the DVD ejects after the first burn but not after the second. And the button on the front ignores "user input" too.
If I log off and log back on I gain control of the DVD burner again. The Hardware in question is the Phillips 8801. I can't find a firmware upgrade (although I don't know if that will help) because it's a Dell unit.
This is new with version 5.0. It didn't do it with 4.5.
Anyone got any suggestions?
