Farewell sonicfoundry!!!

I can't explain what i feel.....

1st, when i open the forum, i was surprised with the changes....looks fine to me but i prefer the original one.

2nd, SONIC EPM...SONICblah blah becomes SONYEPM etc...

3rd, I went on the homepage, browsed the product section....i noticed the box picture for the products are labelled SONY....sonic foundry is finally removed......

I just wanna say GOODBYE Sonic foundry, sweet memories.

Just about all of the engineers are STILL HERE, so have no worries-TONS of exciting stuff on the near horizon.

Fact is, the Sonic Foundry we know and love came with the deal... they just changed the name on logo tee shirts.

The product is no more than the engineers who created it and the marketing gang who helped sell it... (Doesn't matter how good a product is, if you don't sell anything, nothing happens.)

So the part of Sonic Foundry that really believed in the value of the product are still with us... it's just that now the under-writing bank (Sony) actually has a bunch of money to pay for development and more aggressive marketing.

At least, I hope Sony got all the prime movers with the business.
