Fast Pans

When I build a slide show, I pan almost every shot. I was wondering does anyone have any tricks or tips?

As I'm moving through the stills, I can click on the "FX" and get the window and then click on the pan/crop tab. Is there a way to quickly pull up the pan/crop tab for the current slide. I know it's only one click, but when you're working with 100+ slides, every click counts.

Also, I've noticed the window, even when it stays open remains on the still I just finished and does not stay current with the pointer on the time line.

Thanks.

There was an attorney in my firm who insisted that there be an easier way to accomplish something repeatedly on his computer. My assistant came up with downloading a free (or shareware) program that makes macros that function in Windows or in any program and for which the user can assign any key they wish to perform the action or series of actions. If no easier shortcut in VideoFactory gets mentioned, that might be something to try.

As my assistent found - some macro programs work only in the Windows environment itself (such as opening other programs or accomplishing some other intrinsic Windows function) whereas other, more sophisticated, macro programs can actually take control of running programs and perform keypresses or mouse clicks automatically.

(Go to Google.com and do a search on "macro software" or even on "shareware" to find some good sources of shareware.)
