Greatings everyone!
Newbiee...like you did not figure this out already,......
When previewing any videoclip with say 2 or 3 videofx my computer is totally hanging, in other means it is taking all the prossessor power available, and i can not even stop the preview of the clip running. (PREVIEW AUTO). If i change the preview to DRAFT AUTO it is a little bit better, but hey what a shitty quality to see the preview in. I am aware that I need more computer power, ...but how much,..would have been nice to hear from anyone with a troublefree preview,..how many videofx could you normally use at the same time with a trouble free preview on an ideal system?...does an external monitor solve this problem? or hasn't it got anything to do with preview quality(speed)...sorry for bad english,..norwegians are much better writing norwegian,..thanks anyone

What FX are you applying? Some are more proceesor intensive than others. Your AMD 2200 should perform resaonably well.

In any case, in these circumstances, you might try using Prerenders (Shift/M) or RAM renders (Shift/B).

Hi Gary!

Thanks for good advises!
I like to use the Glow fx with the White Highlights and others that are heavy to render for the prosessor, but I will try your advises to see if it is running smother, Thanks again (do you just enter Shift/M or Shift/B before viewing the preview?
