Feathered edge around...

I would like to do a colored feathered edge around some pictures...does anyone have a tip on what would be the best way to accomplish this?

I would recommend you actually produce the photo with the feathered edge in a raster graphics program before you import them into MS3.

Photoshop and Photoshop Elements do this. I don't know Paint Shop Pro all that well but I assume it will also.

well. i am making a movie with about 150 pictures and video. It would be easier if there was a simple effect that I could make and place on every picture.

To add it project wide just drag effect to the preview window. adjust for color, feather and size.

You could also created a layer of video that's transparent in the center and sort of airbrushed color (black) around the edges and put that layer down above your still photo layer.
