Feathering a crop for one-side only

Hi,

I added the PluginPac 3D and I cropped an image from the left side only. Now I want to feather only on the left side (and not the right). I tried the border fx but I am unsuccessful (it places the border around the whole image).
Any help please..

P.S. Why the teh ANGLE option in the border FX ghosted?

I'd suggest using the masking tool within the Pan/Crop tool (middle option on the right edge of the clips) then enable masking, and if you've already used this to crop, just start a second one and feather it and cut off the area that you want to have the feathered edge at.

Use a Cokkie Cutter Effect... set to Square... make the Square larger than you need it to be... position it so the side you want feathered is the only side affected.
