Feature Available in Vegas Movie Studio?

I need to recommend an NLE to a customer. One very specific need he will have is the ability to slow video and audio.

Does Vegas Movie Studio have this capability? How about the option to change the speed with or without changing pitch?

I know these features are available in the full version of Vegas, but that is probably overkill for him at this time...

Yes, and yes.

What the studio version doesn't have is the option to continuously vary the speed. You can split the clip up in multiple sections and give each section a different speed, but that entire section will be constant.
