few Q on transitions

Hi, I just installed the MS14 trail, I'm not new to NLE's and I must admit that so far I'm amazed with the tools in hand.

So...

When I look in the transition tab I see few folders that holds the transitions, but many of them are duplicates in those folders. What the practical use of such order?

Does MS14 have masked transition? where I can load an image to be used as alpha transition?

The NB ones are X'ed, I guess this will be cleared in the purchased version? or further action will be needed?

Yes, the transition type "Gradient Wipe" does this.

Yes, if you purchase a copy of VMS that includes those NB FX and transitions, the watermark will disappear.
