If you are doing pack-mule reality tv audio with four wireless mics and a boom AND have the back of a 20 year-old, this would be great! Think my 40+ year-old back will stick with the 442 for now.

Same size and just a bit lighter than the 442, but with a built-in BWF recorder.
I think my back could stand that, it's the hip pocket that would take most of the strain . . .

I just don't want to carry two more wireless's and mix another fader with one hand while booming with the other! lol.

I saw at NAB a pole holder that attaches to a waist belt, allows you to hold the pole comfortably with one hand.

I tried it and quite liked it.

I also use this thing whenever possible.
