Field Order Bug in Uncompressed.

This one sure bit me.
In order to save a lot of time on a project where the client kept coming up with 'new' ideas I rendered all the US lower 3rds to uncompressed, fine. Build the final DVD and shipped it off to the client except I had niggling doubt about how those animated lower 3rds looked, all but one of them.
Just went back and checked and my worst fears were right.
The uncompressed files were flagged UFF which I thought OK, that's standard PAL and Vegas will take care of it. Wrong!
Ran a test with the a CRT, those files sure as heck do have the field order the wrong way around, switch it to LFF and the animations play as smooth as silk. That's why one of them in the DVD looked fine, nothing to do with the compression, it was still on the T/L as a nested Veg straight from US i.e. the field order was correct.
I don't know where the field order got mixed up, when the uncompressed file was rendered, as it's opened by Vegas or whatever but oh boy, what a pain to go back through over 20 projects to flip the field order. The only good news is it doesn't look so bad that the client will notice (I hope) and I'm certain there'll be another cycle of 'new' ideas so I can fix it them.

Bob.
