When you write your movie to disk, make sure you use the NTSC DV (or PAL DV) .avi templates and don't change anything at all. If you make even the slightest custom change then the file won't be compatible with other DV devices.

We're also assuming you captured your video as NTSC-DV AVI.

This is the default setting but, if you switched that setting, your file may be in a format that doesn't output to DV.

You can ONLY capture in DV-AVI with Screenblast.

ASUS Prime Z590-A Motherboard with Intel Core i7 11700 8 Core / 16 Thread 2.50GHZ, 64GB Crucial DDR4 3200( 4 x 16GB), nVidia GeForce GTX1650Super 4GB DDR5, SoundBlaster X AE5 soundcard, 3 x 4TB Samsung 860 EVO SATA 3 SSD, 2 x 8TB Samsung 870 QVO SATA 3 SSD, 1 x 2TB Samsung 980 Pro NVME PICE4 SSD, 2 X WD 4 TB NVME PCIE3 SSD, 2 X Viewsonic monitors, LG Blu-Ray writer. Then again, it doesn't matter what format the source files are in as long as you render (make movie) to DV .avi.

I pasted this from the exact problem I had.

The project properties were untitled uncommpressed. Don't know how they got changed but in make movie they didn't match anything. Changed the project properties to ntsc dv and voilla! Print to tape back.

Hi I also intermittently get the same problem as jimmy, same solution (except I use PAL DV), but in addition to jimmy's solution I also have to go into "advanced" settings and check that "PAL DV" is selected for "video" properties. There doesnt seem to be any pattern as to when this glitch will occur...
