Can any one suggest the best way to delete leftover files
from an editlist.Since they end up as takes. How do you know
besides going through all tracks which takes you need to
delete??
I am finding the file management a little tedious.I am
working with 4 bands at once and am really getting poor
management.Any great ideas?

Actually it's quite easy with Vegas now. When you first start a
project in Vegas go into the "Project Properties" ,Audio Tab and
designate yourself a new folder for the New band you're working with
that everything will be recorded to. Then when you're done recording
and editing everything you can go to the media pool and click on the
broom which will "wipe all unused media from the media Pool". Then
Create a new folder and Do a "Save as" and make sure to put a check
in the checkbox which says "Copy all media with project" and then it
will save everything you used in the project along with the .Veg
file. Then after you've done that you're free to delete the original
record folder because everything you used, has been copied to the new
folder.
