File Management in VMS9

Hi,

Whenever I start up a project, I create a folder with sub-folders to try and keep all of the files within a project located in the same place. However, VMS9 always seems to scatter the files in various places on my PC. For example, captured video gets sent to My Documents. Does anyone have a method to keep all of the files associated with a project all in one folder?

Thanks.

No, it does not scatter video. You just tell your capturing window where to save it, and it will remember it.

You have to tell VidCap where to store the files.

For SD, In VidCap, Options / Preferences / Disk management.

For HD, in VidCap click the Browse button to select your sub-folder.

This is another important step to take right after setting up the project sub-folder.
