File missing?

I recorded a few tracks of vocal and after rendering into a stereo mix, i deleted the raw tracks and save my project again. The problem is that after I permenantly remove these raw wave files from my hard disk and open my project again , vegas still looking for those wave files ,I have to chose to ignore the error everytime i open that project.
Please help.

The files are still included in the project Media Pool. Click the "Remove All Unused Media From Project" button (the one that looks like a broom) to remove them.
