File Size x 2

Hmmm...

What would cause a rendered mpg2 file size to be twice the size as expected. I've never experienced this until today. Other files rendered, both before and after the problem file, just fine. I was using the standard DVD NTSC template. A 1 hour program rendered to over 4.6 gigs.
Anyone have a clue?

If you rendered it in Vegas, you may have some trivial, small audio or video file way beyond the end of the project. Vegas will then dutifully render as many minutes of black as necessary to get to the end of the project. Did you open the MPEG in a media player and look at it? Scrub through it and see if it is what you expect.
