Film Effects -

Hey gang, when I grab some footage and drag it up and put it on the timeline....I notice that I see a small track in between the video and audio and when I double click on that little track it brings up the film effects box. Then I have to delete "film effects" and then that little track dissappears. I have no idea why this is happening........... thoughts?

You've likely inserted Film Effects to a track and accidentally stored it as a default, and you're seeing the keyframe on that track. Click the Track Effects button next time you open the project, and you'll likely see it.
Remove it, and then right click the track header and reset track defaults.
