Film effects

I'm confused... sorry, but once you get to know me you will see i live in a state of confusion.
In Vegas 5 when you applied film effects, they did what they said they would do... like flicker, jitter etc.... In Vegas 6 the effect just seems to place a filter over the video but does nothing. No matter what preset I use or appy different amounts of an effect.. Nothing changes. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

There is a bug in the current build of Vegas relative to Film FX. I'm sure it will be fixed in the next build release.

Thankfully, I no longer have Starband. They finally gave permission for the town I live in to tap into the military line, so we have (sorta) DSL.
You're not losing it. :-) The Sharpen filter isn't quite what it's supposed to be either.
