I went to Big Bear and the moon was full and I just had to take a shot with my VX 2000. However, when I looked through my lens the moons edges were not round the moon rather looked like a hexagon. I thought at first it could be my lenses but it was not. What could this be? I want a round moon.
And, adjust exposure manually, or the blackness of the surrounding sky will throw off your readings. Zoom in on the moon til it fills your viewfinder, and adjust your exposure. It'll hold proper exposure thru zoom range after that.
