Filters and FX disappeared

Working in Vegas 6.0b. Starting a new project and it appears all of my video and audio FX and filters have disappeared. The show up as selections but do not load. Loading in old projects I receive an error message the FX are not installed on this system.

I am now reinstalling Vegas 6.0b to try and fix the problem.

Anyone else with these difficulties?

A reinstall worked but had to go back to original 6.0 install and then install 6.0b.

Strange problem most likey attributable to operator error of some type. Has never happened in two years of using Vegas though.
