Final Output Question

I have created a DVD for a client and have a question? After rendering out of Vegas as DVD NTSC, I brought it into DVDA and prepared & burned the disc. Everything seemed fine. All was well! I delivered the product and was taken back when I got a call saying that the 59 minute DVD cut off short at 54minutes. She explained that it just went back to the main menu. She tried to get to the end but it always cuts out and goes back to the menu.
After trying the same DVD in three other external players, I can get it to play to the end. Does this sound like a problem with the render or just possibly an external DVD compatability problem? Thanks in advance!

I'd venture to say it is a compatibility problem. Up here in Canada we have quite a few "Wal-Mart" low end brands such as Gold Star. I had the same problem with a DVD that tested fine in my Sonys and the Koss. Reburned the disc at 1X and it worked in the user's No Name brand player. Be prudent and go buy a very low end player for testing. If your disc works on the cheapie at your shop you can be fairly sure it will work elsewhere.

Thanks Peter!
I'll give that a try. Probably good practice to burn at a slower rate anyway. Sometimes my brain (internal default) goes right for the fastest option.
