I rendered my project - but at the end - a window opened asked if I want to " finish" ( - the " send to dvd architect did not open - )
so I selected : "finish"
now I cant find the file to open in DVD architect
to burn the DVD -
I tried to re render - but it states the file name .MPG already exisit do I want to overwrite - which I dont want to do -
my question is - how can I open this file in architect if it was not sent there at the end
of the rendering process??
ps - I have older versions -

Normally, you would import the video into DVDA. The same as you would open or import a file into Vegas.

Do a search for the file name to find the MPEG file and then use that same path to import it into DVDA.

thanks Dave -
I found it But it is a MPG.sfl file - for some reason it was rendered as such
and wont open in DVDA

any ideas how to convert it to a regular MPG without the sfl - ( I am assuming this is the problem)
thanks tons

Your .mpg file is in the same folder as your .sfl file.

If you can't see it, your Windows folder options are set to hide the extensions.
You need to Google for basic instructions on how to set folder viewing options for your version of Windows.
Or, you can press F1 to open the Windows Help screen.
Good luck.

thank you - but I really am not sure how to do this - also -
I can see the extension on the file name .MPG.sfl
but DVDA does not open it - I may be repeating myself - but cannot work out how to get this to open in DVD architect when it says files foes not exist

I know I sound dumb - but I am not a pc tech and need more help please

I have reset my PC to show ( ie not hide extensions)
and still DVDA will not recognize it -
it is a file .mpg.sfl
it states " it is not a valid project - "
this is the file name "jenny first year.mpg.sfl" - so I am lost

so I am lost

Wow, no kidding! This is because you continue to be fixated on the
.mpg.sfl file and ignore all advice otherwise, when what you need is the .mpg file.

wow -
that is rude -
if I knew how to do it I would not be " fixating"
I have followed the advice of others the best way I know how-
If I was doing it correctly - I would not still be asking -
so instead of being unkind -
can you offer a solution????

can you offer a solution????

Ignore this file: jenny first year.mpg.sfl

Use this file: jenny first year.mpg
