Firewire?

Hello,

I thinking of buying Canon XM2 (GL2 U.S) together with Vegas Video 4.0.

Then I need, I suppose, a firewire, but is it a firewire of any special sort?

And I suppose I also then need a firewire card?

Anyone know what sort of a card?

And what is the cost for this, roughly?

Okay---you need a firewire card to capture the images from your XM2. That should run you between 50-85 US. Then you wll need a dedicated video drive to capture your images on. The bigger the better and the drive should do 7200 rpm.
