Firmware Update

I heard today that Canon has released a firmware update for it's Vixia line of camcorders HV20/HV30. It will now have Pulldown flags added. How will that affect us here in VMSP8 land? Thanks. Cin

PS. Eugenia, will this in anyway effect your pulldown removal tutorial?

My guess, unless you see something very official from Canon, is that this is an April Fool's joke from yesterday.

Still, it would be really, really cool (and nice of Canon) if it were true.

Don't be. I have always been too trusting and naive. I guess I should have remembered the 'if it sounds too good to be true, it is.' :/
