First 3D burn- I see side by side (but for fuj)

Hi...

I have three 3D camcorders. One is a Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D. The other is a Toshiba Z100:

http://www.toshiba.co.uk/camcorders/palm-held/camileo-z100/pa5012e-1c0k/

The Toshiba makes .MP4 files, which, using Quicktime Pro, I covert to .mov files that sony movie makes likes.

The 3rd 3D camcorder is a 3D DXG-579VK HD 1080p. I can post a data sheet if I knew where to post it here. (?). The DXG-579VK make AVI files. So I installed this Sourceforge codec in my computer:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/x264vfw/files/

After doing so, I was able to import both the Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D AVI files and the DXG-579VK AVI files into sony movie studio.

While burning, I noticed that both the Toshiba Z100 and the 3D DXG-579VK would show 4 images, not two as the Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D did.

When I played back my 3D blu-ray (in my Sony 3D Blu-ray player hooked to my 3D TV), I found that the 3D from the Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D came out looking great. But 3D footage from the Toshiba Z100 and the DXG-579VK came up on the screen showing two images side by side.

I am paying this back on a 65" Sony 3D TV. In the past, when I have stuck my cameras (with the memory card inside) into the TV, I could go to a 3D option in the TV that would let me select side by side, and the 3D videos would play back correctly once I selected that option.

That option was not available when I played back my first Blu-ray 3D DVD. I suspect the Blu-ray told the TV "I am a normal blu-ray 3D Blu-ray DVD, so do not display a side by side option - it is not necessary". This is just a guess on my part.

The Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D is the only one that came out as it should.

I suspect I have a option I can change in sony movie studio, so that I can take the side by side images from the Toshiba Z100 and the DXG-579VK, and burn a real 3D Blu-ray.

I am running the latest versions of Sony Movie Studio Platium 12 - build 1184, and build 186 for DVD Architect Studio 5.

I am runninga SATA III Intel motherboard, with 16GBs of RAM and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 590 (watercooled). All of my drivers and BIOS are up to date for all of the sofware on my computer.

I believe my issue is an option in the 3D software (see pages 55 to 61) in the latest sony movie movie studio platium 12 pdf manual. But I can not find it.

I spent over 12 hours on this yesterday. Can someone advise me or give me some pointers? I am so close...

Thank you

jack

It might be worthwhile to check out 3D webinar.

Thank you for your help. I watched that video about 10 or 11 months ago when I bought Pro 12. In about 4 months, that video will be 4 years old. The software has changed a lot in regards to 3D. So I bought Sony Movie Studio 12 a month ago. But it is just as cryptic as to how to make 3D. I have witten Sony to ask if they might want to update the video, but so far, they have decided not to.

I watched it again after I bought sony movie studio platinum 12, but it was still far offf from what was on my screen. I am glad Sony is improving it's products. But a little help would go a long way.
