First Experience Using VP23 -- Very Positive

I made a short movie last weekend (48 Hour Film Project). When I make those for that specific event, TIME is obviously the most critical resource. I used VP23 for the editing, and was VERY pleased. No crashes, no weird glitches.

I have read some of the bug reports, and I am sure they are legit. I kept things simple with this project, using 4K video with only Standard Dynamic Range (and rendering the official product at 1080p24 SDR with h.264 CODEC). So, I haven't PUSHED VP23 to any real challenges yet. I did render 4K intermediate files as part of my workflow, and I did render a 4K HEVC final movie as well as the 1080 official release. All worked well.

VP23 is MUCH FASTER on the rendering, and MUCH SMOOTHER on the timeline, for my limited use so far. (AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics)

I also stuck with VEGAS built-in Title options for the credits, even though I have BorisFX. This was to save time, but I have to say: there are available presets in VEGAS Title module that are quite good.

I will also note that I used MAGIX SoundForge Pro 18 extensively on this short project, because the audio is vital to any movie. I really enjoyed using these tools, and I had confidence that they would help me create a legitimate end product in very limited time. And they did. Good work, MAGIX.
